This should be a great "Dual Prospect" Litter of puppies.
"Wit" is a Finished "Show Champion", who also received a placement at the "GSPCA 2003 NSS". "Wit" most of all is an excellent "Gun Dog", who has passion, class & natural ability to spare. He is a very powerful swimmer & a natural retriever from both land & water. "Wit's" puppies are most often personal Gun Dogs and family house dogs, many of whom have earned Hunt Test Titles, NAVHDA Titles & Field Trial Wins & Placements. Pups from the previous "Wit" & "Mia" 2008 Litter, have earned Show Champions, Group Placements, Hunt Test and Rally Titles, and are quite successfully hunted over.
"Mia" is a Finished "Show Champion" . She is out of the VJK-MYST Kennels in So CA, and finished easily on the tough So. CA Circuit. "Mia" is a sweet girl with a bubbling exuberance for life, and shows a very natural birdiness. There is no such thing as a bad day in "Mia's" world. She is one of the happiest girls I know. "Mia" has produced absolutely stunning puppies who have earned Show Championships, NSS Placements, Group Wins, Multiple Group Placements, Hunt Test Titles, Rally Titles, a GSPCA Versatility Certificate. They have also been great Family Dogs & Personal Gun Dogs to their owners.
"Wit" is a big boned, short backed dog who stands 233/4" with a weight of approx 60 lbs, & a Dense Harsh Coat. "Mia" is a short backed bitch standing 23" with a weight of approx 50 lbs, who has plenty of bone & substance. She is a very powerful mover with beautiful reach & drive, and a Med Dense/Med Harsh Coat. We should get a very "standard" size "Solid Liver" GSP from this breeding. The numerous National Field Champions, Dual Champions, Amateur Field Champions, AKC Field Champions, Show Champions, BIS, BISS, BNSS and GSPCA Hall of Fame Dogs in their immediate backgrounds, will provide these puppies with outstanding potential.
